Planting corn...

John, Jace, Hannah, Halle, and Betty - John's mom - planted a crop of corn. Last year her corn caught a nasty fungus and you can't plant corn again for a year in that section of the garden, so they made a spot down by grandma's. We love corn and we should have plenty this year!!

Here's Halle pointin', plantin', and stompin'...

(we need to get this girl a little belt)

The rest of the gang...

Clean up time...

And one more of Halle...

There are still four more rows to plant, but we'll do those in a few weeks and have late corn. YUM! YUM!
Later on the boys had baseball games. We went to Justin's in Rigby and I had washed his pants earlier in the day and forgot to put them in the dryer, so we improvised and this was the scene...

Yes, drivin' down the road, 55 MPH, with window open and him hangin' on to his pants for dear life, tryin' to get them dry. It worked. They were dry.
He played great and had a nice hit. They lost. They haven't had much luck this year winning, but they work will together and have fun. Jace's team lost their first game last night. They were bummed. They've only lost one. Two more games each and the season comes to an end. Just in time for Hannah to start softball.
The boys left today for five days. They are going to Hamilton, MT. with their Grandma Russell for their cousins Brian and Scott's graduation. They should have a lot of fun and were excited to go!! I already miss them. Halle wants to go on a bike ride and it sounds like a great idea!! So thankful for...1) summer time - carefree and sleeping in 2) clouds - especially big fluffy ones, go out and cloud watch sometime 3) my bike - it's old fashioned, no gears, and kicks my butt when I go up hills.
