Where has the time gone! I wanted to out his baby picture on here but with the basement in an upheavel the picture box was buried! He was the cutest little baby! Strawberry blonde hair that was so soft and about 2 inches long!!! I remember when the nurse brought him back in after she had cleaned him all up and bathed him she said, "I have done all I can do to make his hair lay down"! It looked just like a new born baby chick...so soft, fine, and sticking straight up in every direction! I remember just rubbing my chhek against his little head and blowing in his hair cause it would just move and stay sticking straight up! It was so soft and fluffy! And even to this day when he washes his hair it's still baby soft!!!
It was a low key day! It fell on a Sunday and he didn't want to do much! He did want his dad to take the day off {which he gladly did} because he was going to be ordained a Teacher in Young Mens! He really wanted to have his dad set him apart and Justin was able to stand in also! That just brought tears to this mama's eyes!! John did wonderful and gave him a very special blessing!! We celebrated with a yummy dinner and then everyone came over for cake and ice cream! H got some new shorts, a shirt, a golf shirt, and enough money to buy a season golf pass and a new putter!!! He was way excited about that!!!
Here's a year in review since his last birthday...
His 13th birthday ~ April 17th 2010...
and this was tonight {since I didn't get any pictures on his actual birthday, sorry J!!}
A year ago I was taller that the kid!!! He's now taller than me and qickly catchin' up with his dad!!!
Love you Jace!! So proud of you and the fine young man you are!! You have such a tender heart! You make us laugh and your dad and I can always count on you to help us!!
A few things about J~Bear...
* he loves to play Call of Duty, Modern Warfare, basically anything that has to do with the xbox
* loves to golf
* loves riding his motorbike
* LOVES milk like no other whether it's with cereal, oreos, his dinner....the kids literally drinks TONS of milk
* wears a size 13 shoe
* is 6 feet tall
* loves to sleep
* has an awesome laugh
* works hard when he wants to
* loves our dog Abby ~ who sleeps on his bed every night
* has quite a temper which you don't see too often but watch out when ya do
* loves basketball
* loves football
* loves going and hanging out with Justin and going to "Berto's"
* is excited to be a freshman next year {gasp}
* can't wait to drive in a few months {double gasp}
