Spud day was September 17th!! It was a nice day!! I didn't take many pictures and we didn't even stay for the spud tug this year!! We went to the parade where we got a unch of candy, got our free baked potato {about 15 of them}, and had a prime steer!! That was the day of homecoming so Justin was paint balling for his day date {see previous post}, Jace and Hannah each had $20 and went with their friends, so Hal was stuck with mom and dad!!! She surprised us and did the spud picking race!!! She would have won but the guy told her she had to have all the spuds in the sack when the rule was they all just to be off the ground meaning she could have filled her basket too {grrrrr, I am still irritated by it, get the rules straight people}!! But she did awesome and we were so proud of her.....
We then headed to spend her money!! She chose a crown thing, tinsel wand, face painting {a cherry}, and a cob of corn....
and finally $3 worth of wagon rides...
While John and I helped with homecoming dinner {again, see previous post}, Jace, Hannah, and Halle went to the demolition derby with my sister!! It was a good time for all!! Yea for Spud Day!!
