and we were finally able to do it!!! Halle turned 8 in March and Justin will be leaving on his mission soon and I have always wanted to go to General Conference with my little family and we did! We were able to go to the Sunday 10:00 session and it was awesome!! We left Saturday late afternoon cause Justin was working in the harvest but we ended up at In-n-Out Burger around 10:00 that night then headed to our hotel!!! We got a room just a few blocks away from the conference center so we wouldn't have to deal with parking and such!! The kids swam for about an hour then we went and hung out in the room...
We got up early the next morning and got already and we left the room about 8:30!! We timed it just right!! We were in the upper balcony on the far right!! I thought they were great seats!!! We had a few minutes so we had to take some pictures....
It was a great conference!! During the Saturday morning session the day before is when it was announced that the new age for missionaries would be 18 and 19 for sister missionaries!!!
It was an absolutely gorgeous day when we walked out of the conference center so we walked around the temple grounds and took more pics...
We went back and changed in the parking garage,{that was a chore}, and then headed to Cabela's to look around for a bit! We hit a few more stores and had a bite to eat and then hit the road for home!! Quick trip but full of fun and memories!! I was so glad we were able to go before Justin's leaves!! John says "he'll always be back" and yes, he will......but it won't ever be the same!!!
