During Districts Bracken's grandparents gave the team a pillow and personalized pillowcases with this note....
and they must have all done it cause this last Wednesday the team headed to Boise for state basketball.....

J was so excited he could hardly sleep!!! The went to the mall, had practices, went to Touscano's {and ate way too much} swimming, hung out, and practiced some more!
John and I headed over Thursday after I got off work!! It was great to watch them play!! All the games were so close! And J played awesome!! So proud of him!!
This was the final standing of the 3A playoffs!! We fought till the final seconds....losing to Sugar by 1 point!!! In the last few seconds!!! It was so hard for the boys!! But they kept a pretty good attitude about it!!!And now J gets a whole 2 days to rest before golf starts!!!
John and I did a little shopping and eating {too much eating at the Cheescake Factory, but it was SSOOO good}!! Blake, Shannon, Oakleigh, came over to cheer J on!! And Mandie and her family came over also to cheer on J and to watch Bonneville!! It was fun and a much needed get away!!!
I made these for the boys to hang on their doors each night...
{with some rock candy attached}

{with a little canvas basketball shoe attached}
One of the senior moms also asked me to make some for the cheerleaders
{cause I LOVE doing stuff like this}...

It was nice too get away with the hubby!! The weather was gorgeous....
And even ran into Zachary....

J is obsessed with Snow Geese!! He wants to get one and stuff it!! Around here in Shelley you see a few every now and them but on the way to Boise, I think by Aberdeen, John spotted these in a field....
TONS of snow geese!!! Of course we had to take a detour to get a picture! I sent it to J and he couldn't believe it!!
On the way home we drove through there trying to find them but they were gone!!!
It was pretty crazy to see that many geese!!!
