Look who's in the paper!!

We had the Russell family Christmas party on Saturday! We always have a wonderful breakfast of sour dough pancakes with strawberries and whip cream and this year John's mom made some homemade buttermilk syrup, bacon, sausage, home made hash browns, eggs, and juice...we look forward to it every year!! This year when Santa made a visit, the local newspaper ~ The Post Register ~ wanted to do a story on him and get him in "action" so he asked if it was ok for them to come and take a few photographs! When I opened the paper Sunday morning, Halle was on the front cover of "The West" along with her cute cousins! Her was so happy! She had just opened a Taylor Swift Doll! She loves to sing all her songs and dance to them! It was fun and exciting to see her in the news! Here are a few more pictures from the day... They had a pinata full of candy and quarters... Boys playing basketball... This is John's mom and dad with her brothers, sister, and their spouses... And these last couple pictures are courtesy of John's talented niece, Sherelle ~ thanks for sending and sharing them ~ love you! John and Santa...This is John's side of the family...we were missing a few, Tawsha and her family, Whitney, Ashley, Erin's hubby Seth, and Sherelle's dear hubby was snappin' the picture!

Then we headed to Jace's basketball game, which they won, and off to my dad's family party with more good food and fun!! This is my beautiful great-great grandma who will be 97 this year! It was a great day!! Off to get my hair cut and finish up last minute "stuff"! I want my family to know how much we love them! How grateful and blessed we feel to have family around us and so close! For John's family, all my grandparents, aunts uncles, cousins, and friends! Love you all!Have a very Merry Christmas!
