The making of a plant cell...

by Hannah Russell.
Hannah had to make a plant cell for her 5th grade science class. They could use anything they wanted around the house to make it. This is what a plant cell looks like
{she only had to label 7-8 parts}...

and this is Hannah's...

It's completely edible out of yummy treats! The base is a huge rice krispy treat with frosting on top, licorice, gummy oranges, black licorice candies, sprinkles, gumball, sugar, and frosting gel!! She got an A on it and then they ended up eating it in class! I made the rice krispies, dad cut it out, and she did everything else. We are proud of her and she is doing really good in school this year! Her reading and math has improved and she works hard at keeping up her grades. Love you Rae!! So thankful for...1) Hannah's teacher ~ Mrs. Hill who takes time and works with Hannah 2) Hannah hands...I loved watching her long fingers out things together and decide where things should go 3) Hannah...we love her so much and are so glad she is part of our family!
