The football team left last Friday to go to Boise to play for a spot in the 4A State Championship! I asked John that Monday if he wanted to go {knowing full well he would say no} but he didn't....he said YES!! So I booked us a hotel and we left Friday afternoon!!! We hit up the Cabela's and Red Robin that night and then back at the hotel to go swimming....

Saturday we got up, had breakfast, and then went swimming again! Isn't that one of the best things about stayin' in a hotel??? Well, Halle sure thinks so...

 The game didn't start until 1:00 so we got all ready and the girls headed to the mall and the boys headed {back} to Cabela's!!! The girls and I were able to find some awesome deals and could have stayed a few more hours!!! But we went and grabbed some lunch and headed to the game!!
Shelley was 8 and 2 this season and the had to play Bishop Kelly who was 10 and 0!! We had a pretty fair chance at being able to go to state but we got over there and things just didn't go our way!! The boys played their hearts out and it didn't help that the referee's totally sucked! But they ended up losing 28-7!

 It just broke my heart watching all those boys walk off the field, with their heads held high but tears in their eyes! They should be very proud of themselves! This was the first year we played 4A! Moving up and playing harder and larger schools! Way to go Shelley...
