from 8th grade that is!!!!

I still haven't figured out why they have an 8th grade graduation but they do and we went!!
He is getting tall, passed me up and is catching up to brother and dad....
They had it in the gym of the middle school....
The graduating class....
They had some nice talks and some awards then the pricipal said a few words!! It was your typical insptrational speech until he got to this part where he said, "if ya get knocked up, get back up and keep going" to which the gym was dead silent! He then said, "I didn't say that quite right" and everyone started laughing!!! Of course he meant if ya get knocked down, get back up!! It was quite funny!!!
They then handed out their certificates, not diplomas, but certificates {which they didn't even get cause of a "printer malfunction"}...
He is glad he is done with 8th grade and is excited to be a freshman {FRESHMAN!!!! Did I really just type FRESHMAN??? Can't be!!}
Grandma and Grandpa Carter came....
We love them so much and are so grateful they come and support our kids like they do!!!
He was out 2 days earlier than the rest of the kids and took well advantage of having to do nothing and kind of having the house to himself....playing video games, eating, sleeping, pretty much gearing up for his summer activities!!! Just kidding!! He has been working pretty hard! He is saving up for a motorbike!!!
