When ya take over 1200 pictures in 8 days it's so hard to narrow them down!! Especially when they all are such awesome memories...........but I will try!!
Steph and Mike and their kiddos came up Wednesday...
followed by Blake and Shannon and Mandie and Mike! We got all their stuff unpacked and situated then it was time for visiting and games...
and girls cousins with matching hair-do's...
The next morning the kids couldn't wait to go sledding...
Uncle Mike S. was so awesome and pulled the kids around the trail for hours!!! And even Hannah was super great at pulling them around!
Part of the boys Christmas gift was that they wanted to rent some snow machines! So we rented then a couple of 2013 Ski-Doo's Summit X 800's and one for John and I!! We picked them up Thursday morning and the boys were gone!! They would come back to check in but other then that they went from "son up to son down"!!!!
They rode and rode and rode!!! We went on a family ride up to Big Springs and found a hill the boys wanted to do some jumps....

The boys were catching some good air but then the biggest boy of all had to show them how it's done...

Mom and dad showed up Friday...
The boys took off on the machines and it was time for more sledding! We even got mom and dad on the sled....
The next couple pictures are of Blake and Steph going completely under the tree branches!! Just a hair higher and Steph would've had some major owies in her face...
The boys had to take the sleds back Friday night {we had some sad boys for a while} so Saturday they found a pretty good sized hill and did a little boarding....
There was plenty of eating, game playing, movie watching, laughing, and just relaxing...
And most nights ended like this....
completely worn out from pure exhaustion!!!

* watching home movies {those were the best}
* cutting down our tree
* 17 - 2 liter bottles of the best Mt. Dew slush consumed in 8 days
* the beautiful snow
* rent snow machines for my boys
* sledding
* kids playing inside and outside
* being with cousins
* being pulled behind the snow machines and laughing
* sleds breaking and Mike S. doing magic with his knot tying skills
I came home kind of in a "funk", a bad mood if you will!!! It was so fun to spend some time with my little family for a few days before Justin leaves on his mission! And then to have all my sisters, brother, and their spouses and kids and parents.....it as just the cherry on top!!! I felt very blessed to have such a close relationship with all of them!!! So it took a while to get back into the swing of things, back to the every day!!
But it certainly made a place in our hearts and memories as one of the Christmas's the kids will never forget!!! And that's what I wanted!!! For them to remember us being together as a family and not what they got!! I think that was accomplished!!!
