Justin took his endowments out on February 5th! What an awesome experience that was! To see my son sitting by his dad going through the temple for the first time! He was surrounded by family who are always so supportive of him!! We didn't get any pictures cause we were in a hurry to get there and it was dark when we left! :( Those who came were....Grandma and Grandpa Carter, Steph and Mike, Mandie and Mike, Blake and Shannon, Aunt Susan and Uncle Doug, Grandma Russell, Neal, Eric and Doris, and Steve and Natalie! There were some that couldn't make it due to travel and some were sick, and we missed having them there!! Justin's excited to go back a few times before he leaves!!
Then Saturday the 9th we headed to Rexburg for the big shopping trip for Justin's mission!! We decided to go to Ferrel's and it was the best decision!! They were great to work with!! We took out list of everything he needed and hit the road! Mom and dad met us there and Steph and Carson rode with us to help us out...
He ended with with 2 suits, 10 white shirts, 11 pairs of socks, 4 pairs of slacks, 1 sweater, shower sandals, 2 pairs of shoes, 3 pieces of luggage, alarm clock, tie rack, towel, 2 belts, sewing kit, shoe shine kit, 12 ties, new watch, toiletries bag, hankies, and I think that's about it....
He had some awesome guys helping him and treated us super fair! Todd the owner and Cameron....
At Ferrel's they have a "Called to Serve" wall where they have all the missionaries sign their name and date, and where they are going...
It was a great experience and not as stressful as it could have been!!
We headed to Pizza Pie Cafe where mom and dad treated us to lunch!!!
16 days!!!!
We still have to get a few things but we're getting there!!!
