Happy New Year ~ 2014

This year we kept it kinda low key!! I blew up some balloons and every few hours the kids popped them and inside was different activities and lots of confetti....

 It was only 3:00 in the afternoon and this balloon was as deflated as I felt!!!

But we started with a movie!!! FROZEN!! LOVED it and can't wait for it come out on DVD!!! Then it was time for....

 Chik-Fil-A!!!And it was yummy!!

 Then it was game time ~ Sequence, our favorite!! Then we filled out our resolutions and talked about goals for next year! Then it was a DANCE PARTY!! We even got dad to dance!! And let me tell ya....John and I were completely outta breath!!! But it was so fun!! Then it was time for midnight snacks...we had chips and salsa, homemade "baked" cheese sticks, M&M's. and carrots and veggie dip!!! After we were completely stuffed we settled in to watch the ball drop!! And to bid Au Dieu to another year and look forward to what 2014 has in store for our little family!!! And this is how we think Elder Russell spent his New Year's Eve....

Elder Russell and his companion were actually invited over to the McGraw's for games and snacks New Year's Eve!!! So very grateful for the members in Calgary!!! They take such great care of the missionaries!!!
