Time is just flying by!!! Some days faster than others...but it's flying by!! Let's catch up!! Christmas was great!! I didn't want anything this year but to talk to my son!!! But we kept with our traditions and went bowling Christmas Eve day.....

We then headed to Steph's and had the yummiest prime rib and all the fixings!! And looked who showed up.....
Then it was time to crawl into bed so visions of sugar plums could dance in our heads!! And sure enough HO HO found our house!!!
Santa did good this year and everyone was happy and grateful for what they received!!! We hurried and got dressed and headed ove to mom and dads to have breakfast and open family gifts {and wait for Elder Russell to call ~ EEK}....
And then my phone rang!! I about peed my pants!!!It was So great to hear his voice!!! we were able to talk for a few hours and everyone had a turn!!! John wonders how I can talk so much.....does he not know me?? ;) We went home for a bit and then he was able to Skype for about an hour at a different members home!! Oh it was great....
It was amazing Christmas!! Elder Russell was very well taken care of on Christmas Day by the members in Calgary!! I am forever thankful to them and for the love they have shown my son!!! Elder Russell called later that night one last time to say goodnight!! We put him on speaker phone and said family prayers together!!! It was then he started crying!! That started us all crying!! I think it was the end of the day and he had to go to bed and think of us at home!! I felt bad all night but by the time I "talked" to him on Monday he was fine!!! It's been hard to be away from each other but he's never really suffered from homesickness!! He misses home during the holidays but like I said the members are so great to include him and his companions in all they do at those times!!! It was a very Merry Christmas!!! I am so very thankful for all I have and am surrounded by.....my family!!
