Are we crazy??

you betcha we are {in more ways than one}!! And when you have a very determined 6 year old that loves Easter and Easter Egg hunts...you go the towns annual Easter Egg Hunt even if it looks like this outside... Halle was determined to go to the Easter Egg hunt this morning even when she looked out the wind and saw all the snow and wind! I asked her if she was sure she wanted to go and her said..."sure, I just have to get my gloves, hat, and boots out"!! You mean mom will have to go dig everything out that she put away cause this snow crap is not supposed to be happening in APRIL!! Oh well...we all bundled up and headed to the park! Can ya tell we all just kinda rolled outta bed!? We waited in the car until 10:58 and then got to our spot just in time!! Here's Hal and Carson waiting {in the freezing cold wind with the sun shining in their eyes}...Halle ended up with about 10 eggs, lots of candy and two quarters, Hannah got about twelve eggs, no money, and since this is officially Jace's last year to "hunt" eggs, he went with Hannah and got about ten eggs too, again, no money! Justin did his job which is to hang out by the Easter Bunny and get the clues for the two prize eggs they hand out each year and then meet us back at the car! One clue this year was a cryptogram and the other was about a cowhand!! We didn't find either this year but there is always nest year!! Justin and Jace ran to the store and grabbed some hot dogs and chips for lunch!! John is working all weekend so we will miss him! The sun is shining outside but the wind is blowing and it's so cold {I had Justin get gas in my car when he ran to the store}!! Off to dye Easter Eggs and get ready for tomorrow...it's Conference and then going to mom and dad's for Easter dinner and another Easter Egg hunt, that will most likely be inside!! So thankful for...1) that I have a son that can drive and loves to use my debit card and will even get gas for me in the freezing cold 2) dying eggs, we never really eat these {don't know why either} but what's Easter without the dying of the eggs 3) LDS General Conference and the true meaning of Easter...love listening to the conference talks
Happy Easter
