Every year during homecoming they have the Russet Olympics!! Games and challenges between each class!! Each class dress all up in their "color", paint, faces, and it's just a crazy, good time! This sophomores are "white" and they won it this year...
Jace wasn't supposed to be in the olympics but ended up participating!! He had to stand on a chair, hold up a sleeping bag with a girl inside, while she dressed in an outfit!! Or something like that!!! So he got a medal!! The Homecoming Parade was right after and I had to help bake cookies for Spud Day but John was off work and I was so proud of him for going and taking pictures....
That night was Homecoming and we played Preston at home! JV was supposed to play the night before but Preston doesn't have a JV team, so Coach asked about 15 JV players to play on Varsity Friday night! J was pretty excited but he knew he wouldn't get any playing time unless it was a blow-out....and it was!! We were up by about 41-13 in the 3rd so they put the JV in! What an awesome time J had!! He played most of the 4th quarter, got some good playing time, and got to sing the fight song after the game!! It was a great ending to a very busy and fun week!!
